"I had no connection to the IT industry before joining Atea, just a usual IT products' user. What I love most about working here is how the IT industry is always growing. It's fascinating and challenging. And Atea has totally changed my idea of what an IT company is like. The events, initiatives, people, and culture are full of surprises and warmth," says Sabine

“The initial setback of being rejected after my first application at Atea Global Services didn't deter me. Already then, I felt that Atea was the place to be for me. Nine years later, I stand as a testament to the remarkable development achievable within a single workplace when it aligns with one's ambitions and values. Supported by my managers and the company, I've had the privilege of participating in 18 training courses over the past eight years. These experiences have been instrumental in propelling me to where I am today,” says Sandis. 

“Even after five years with team Atea I'm still deeply passionate about my job and workplace. Atea really is the place to be for me. Here, I can fully express myself not only in my daily tasks but also in various activities the company provides. I've even begun learning Norwegian. Collaborating with partners worldwide and colleagues in the Nordics allows me to explore new horizons every day. For me, that's the key to coming to work with a smile,” says Aija.

"I get bored if things are too predictable. Luckily, my job keeps me on my toes. The projects I handle continually shift in type, focus, and scope. I also get to work with different people, and that helps me learn new things and stay adaptable, which is super important in the modern world," says Sandris.

“The culture here really is ‘The Place to Be.’ You can do or become anything if you set your mind to it. I started in Atea 7 years ago working with international customers. Now, looking back on how far we've come as a team and the company is something that keeps me both inspired and grounded. Growing our team has been both the hardest and the coolest thing I’ve done here – seven years ago, who would've thought we'd have a creative power house working across Atea?

My advice to anyone joining Atea? Just go for it! Jump in and go for it!" says Daniela. 

“The past eight years with Atea have been incredibly fulfilling in my career journey. I value the excellent work-life balance that is part of our company culture, which enabled me to pursue a Master's degree while working full-time. I've also had the chance to enhance my skills through diverse training opportunities and encountered stimulating professional challenges, exploring different roles to find my perfect fit. In my current position, I believe I can leverage my full potential by blending technical IT tasks with managerial duties,” says Aleksandrs.
