Business Development Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

Main responsibilities:

  • Evaluate company business performance to identify business growth opportunities;
  • Perform market research and industry trend analysis in regards to possible service development and new service design possibilities;
  • Establish collaboration with team leads, managers, subject matter experts, and various stakeholders to ensure that business development goals are met successfully;
  •  Lead various business development projects and ensure key positions are acting in accordance with planned activities;
  • Work closely with senior management to establish and drive business development strategies;
  • Explore new markets and other opportunities to expand companies business value;
  • Provide regular and effective progress status updates to management;

Business case development:

  • Perform customer needs analysis and based on the results create business development plans;
  • Analyze internal strengths, weaknesses, and risks to develop and present business cases to management;

Service design:

  • Define service design plans and timeframes, lead the project;
  • Ensure service scalability, enable technical improvement possibilities, and analyze possible risks;

Representation:

  • Represent the company in various meetings, workshop, and conferences with existing and potential partners, customers, and leads;
  • Work closely with the internal Marketing Department regarding promotional strategy and activities;

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work independently and a high level of self-initiative;
  • Understanding of business to technology mapping;
  • Strong experience and knowledge of IT technologies;
  • Strong coordination skills, ability to work and communicate across several organizational units, and ensure collaboration with many subject matter experts;
  • Strong analytic and decision-making abilities;

Any of the following will be considered a benefit:

  • IT and/or Project Management related certification;
  • Experience in business development, IT management, customer service, finance, administration, sales, project management or related fields;
  • At least 2 years of trackable experience in business development (preferably international).
