This project is being launched in all Atea Group, with Atea Norway as the pioneers, currently in pilot phase in progress. With this project, as we are launching a campaign in the beginning of 2020, we want to show how we can help any small business owner with solutions that would bring value and support to go together towards the top.

How did it all start?
As we moved into the year 2019, Atea expanded their Salesforce department. Summertime this year, we started working on something that was no news to Atea – we need to improve upon the information that we put out there targeted to the SMB market. It was clear that we need to do some research and workshops, which resulted in us understanding – we need clear journeys, offerings with transparent, flexible, affordable and predictable cost to the customer. There was a need to create offers that would build an understanding that Atea is here not only for the big sharks. A decision was made to use the licensing plans suggested by Microsoft for Small Business’s:
- Office 365 Business Essentials
- Office 365 Business Premium
- Microsoft 365 Business
With our partner solutions front lining, it was time to give the offers an Atea flavor by adding services that would suit the market demand. For us it was a clear choice of using our world class Service Desk services combined with the opportunity to utilize our consultants on providing a safe and seamless migration to run at the speed of the cloud with the added benefit of backing up your mailbox data. For the third, top offering to our customers, featuring Microsoft 365 Business, a cherry on top, in the form of an additional managed service; an out of the box device management aimed at end-user independence and productivity called Device as a Service.

SMB Bundle Offering for ECL
ECL project is a construction services company, performing the interior design and architecture for Norwegian & International retailers such as Boots, Olivia, Nison Shoues, Levis, Cubus, Louis Vuiton.
As the retail is rapidly changing, ECL is going through a real digital transformation. Increasing productivity, improving security and decreasing cost was the first priority for them. The company of 8 employees including 2 adorable dogs, were on the exchange server and a local on prem server recently. They have experienced downtime and increase of maintenance cost. Without an it department ECL had to rely on expensive it manpower, and unpredictable costs.
As a fans of Norwegian handball, they really wanted to improve efficiency as well as security.

How did Atea help them?
Atea introduced ECL to Atea 365 AAA to improve customers security & productivity. With Atea’s Device as a Service based on Microsoft Intune and Atea O365 End-user Support we are taking the role of ECLs modern IT department.
AAA also includes Skyckick’s backup and migration. Atea’s local consultant was a project manager and together with a centralised Fast Track team performed a no-downtime migration. End user training and adoption of Microsoft Teams and Onedrive is scheduled for the employees. The on-prem server will be turned off and destructed.
What did we learn?
For the customers without IT department, majority of Ateas 6000 SMB customers, the role of local consultant and account manager is important to mitigate risks and to ensure a world class customer experience.
