The biggest change for 2.7.1 is a new design for the mail templates. The new emails are designed to have a general Zephyr look and feel.
Service Desk agent view
A Service Desk agent view has been created. This view is connected to a role within Zephyr. If a user has the role the Service Desk agent view will be visible for that user. In this view you can handle all tickets on a configured customer in CSMS.
Distribution Group management
Now you can create and manage Distribution Groups from Zephyr. The groups exist in the tenants configured Azure AD. As an owner of a group you can edit members, owners as well as changing the name and description. As a none-owner you can join and leave existing groups.
Request Software packaging
It is now possible to request a Software package through Zephyr. A Software package request will create a ticket in the service desk which can then be handled by packagers.
Some tweaks in the menu and how routing inside Zephyr works has been performed to improve the performance while navigating in Zephyr.
In the next iteration we will improve the views for My Requests and My Approvals. We will also start working with gathering more information from Azure AD so more information is populated automatically for a user when an Azure AD connection exists.
